Irises tea ceremony
Every year, irises known as Gosho ayame bloom in the pottery storehouse.
Irises are said to have been favored by the Heian aristocracy. Their dignified appearance is completely different from the German irises painted by Van Gogh, making them a flower of memories for the Japanese people.
At the Iris Tea Ceremony, you will be able to participate in the tea ceremony using tea utensils created by two ceramic artists, Mukaiyama Fumiya and Iwami Shinsuke.
Enjoy thick and thin tea ceremonies while chatting with the potter.
