Artist Biography
[FUURO]
1992: Born in Tochigi Prefecture. Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Fine Arts.
2014: Worked at a papermaking studio in Saitama Prefecture for 3 years
2016: Began selling handmade washi paper at independent department stores, events, and online shops.
2020: Set up an atelier in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture
2022: Started producing art boards using kozo fibers
[SOSAKUBAG Grass Cultivation]
Born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1991. Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Broadcasting. After working in advertising planning, fireworks, and marketing at a printing company, he began producing dyed kozo basket bags in 2019. He currently produces and sells "fun basket bags" that utilize the light, soft, and casual texture of kozo.
